The Cape Eco Community is a residential development, when finished, the development will consist of over 200 homes, surrounded by 50% of open natural space. All homes in this new development are required to have a minimum of 7.5 stars. As the homes are designed with Passive Solar guidelines, they all feature polished concrete floors with large north facing windows with well shaded trees, this allows the winter sun to naturally heat the thermal mass elements of the concrete.
